LOVE IN THE EYE OF THE STORM

On the morning of September 6th 2017, Irma's center crossed the island of Saint Martin while the storm was at peak intensity, sweeping away entire structures, submerging roads and cars, and triggering an island-wide blackout.

This book goes in depth on the preparations for the storm, the fear and helplessness during and the aftermath.

Billy Nahn and his wife Shelly were staying at Alain and Martine Pagès (my parents) residence for the event. Billy contacted me a year later to use one of my photo's of the devastation for the cover.
